¿Why is it important to vote?
Voting is a basic form of democratic participation. It is very important to
vote, since through this act the representatives who will lead the future government
of the country are elected.
In many countries there is not even the possibility of voting to elect
rulers, who are descendants of traditional castes, monarchical families or
self-appointed dictators. Democratic life allows us to elect our
representatives and delegate public functions to people who have the capacity
and efforts to build a better common environment. Although many times these
representatives are far from the values that each one has. Every vote is
important. Your vote can make a difference in an election and even if it seems
