¿Private schools offer higher quality education or are simply prestigious?

 Today in Chile education is very elitist. With the neoliberal ideology that was established with the Constitution of 1980 and the market reform that accompanied it in the educational field, the fact that the state directly provides the educational service to people, thus guaranteeing their right to education, constitutes in at best an exception.

In general, private schools offer a higher quality education in terms of content and infrastructure. We cannot deny that there are state schools that are very well positioned in the academic ranks, but these are few and accessing them is difficult. With the arrival of the covid, the educational gaps between rich and poor have widened. It is evident that it is a state problem and not one of private schools.
